1. Responsible for developing the business strategy, execution plan & sales forecasting

2. Implementation of sales strategies to achieve revenue generation, increase of market share and overall business growth PAN India.


3. Responsible for P&L accountability for the business and maintaining a steady business growth rate

4. Responsible for annual brand wise and pack wise sales target achievement nationally. (volume, value & bottom-line target)


5. Develop distribution networks with emphasis on distribution expansion in rural markets

6. Guide ZSMs/RSMs in respect of the appointment of distributors and super stockiest to improve coverage in various states

7. Provide strategic guidance to the sales team to achieve brand & pack wise sales targets as per ABP

8. Analyze and report competitor strategies upwards on pricing, placing, promos, schemes and product features

9. Develop organizational capabilities to service the market

10. Manage the sales team by communicating clear job expectations, mentoring, monitoring and evaluating performance

11. Work closely with the marketing team in respect of packaging, promotions, pricing etc

12. New product launch

13. Engage the distributors and retailers for effective distribution.

14. Explore(Strategic tie-ups and corporate/institutional) new channels for distribution.
