National Sales Manager
Location : Hyderabad
Industry : FMCG only
Role Summary:
Candidate will be will be responsible for driving sales strategy & execution for Cream & Dairy products. The current sales team is spread across South India and Eastern Maharashtra. You will be responsible for sales of entire range of products, multiple channels and ensuring distribution from 8 different manufacturing locations. You will also be responsible for geographic expansion and integrations of acquired businesses for Cream & Dairy products
Qualification & Experience:
- 12-15 years experience in FMCG Sales and Distribution
- Experience in restructuring sales function and setting in systems and processes
- Experience in leading large geographically spread out teams
- Proven ability to drive sales in general and modern trade, enter new geographies and product categories
Role & Responsibility Summary
- Responsible for establishment of both annual and monthly sales objectives in coordination with the Company's business plan.
- Provides Annual Sales Plan, monthly updates, revisions and modifications to the plan.
- Define and manage the monthly and annual sales objectives for all sales team.
- Achieves target level of both existing and new business through effective management of a team of sales professionals, network distributors and prospects.
- Implementation of sales strategy for different regions.
- Recruit, inspire, develop, manage and motivate a growing team of sales professionals and network distributors who will deliver high standard of sales across all identified markets.
- Ensures quality control of all sales output pertaining to customer acquisition and service delivery.
- Keep up to date with recent market and industry trends, competitors and leading customer strategies.
- Regular report of achievements versus budget forecast to Managing Director.
