Hiring National Sales Manager - for a leading Beverage Company based in India and part of a leading Conglomerate headquartered in Mumbai

- Position Overview:-
As the National Sales Manager for you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team to drive revenue growth and market share across the country. You will develop and implement sales strategies, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and ensure the successful execution of sales plans to achieve business objectives.
- Key Responsibilities:-
1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence for beverages across India.
2. Manage and lead the sales team, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure high performance and motivation.
3. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retail partners to drive sales and maximize distribution.
4. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
5. Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment and execution of sales strategies.
6. Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and prepare regular reports for management review.
7. Develop pricing strategies, promotional programs, and trade marketing initiatives to drive sales volume and profitability.
8. Drive new product launches and expansion into new markets, ensuring successful market penetration and growth.
9. Manage sales budgets, expenses, and resources effectively to optimize sales operations and profitability.
10. Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
Qualifications and Requirements:-
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA is a plus.
2. Proven experience in sales management within the beverage industry, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship- building skills.
5. Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for sales and marketing.
6. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in sales data analysis and reporting.
7. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast- paced environment.
8. Knowledge of the Indian beverage market, distribution channels, and consumer trends.
9. Willingness to travel extensively across India for business meetings, customer visits, and market research.
