JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: National Sales Lead - Bangalore
Experience: 9+ years
Gender: Male
Location: Bangalore
Responsibilities:
- Drive the sales for India region and own revenue for the region
- Acquire new brands as customers (100% hunting role) on a monthly/ quarterly basis to achieve sales targets
- Sales Contributor - has to handle the complete sales cycle from lead gen to deal closure, collections and CRM. Would be supported by Head of Sales, Sr. leadership and product team.
- Work independently from Bangalore, be the company representative in the region and build a strong customer base in the region
- Identify, connect to and meet with senior decision makers at target companies. Present product value prop and showcase product as relevant to relevant use cases of prospects.
- Close sales deals by mapping & engaging with all required decision makers at prospective companies and by understanding their sales cycle.
- Provide regular inputs to product and marketing teams
- Provide weekly reports and CRM updates as defined
Requirements:
- Self-starter & self-disciplined individual who can work independently and remotely for a new & upcoming product company and generate sales for a novel product & brand amidst strong indirect competition
- Solid experience in selling Saas/Enterprise SW to CxOs at mid-sized companies (7+ years)
- Experience in managing complex sales cycles and multiple decision makers with good negotiation skills
- Ability to quickly identify the quality of a lead to ensure that max time spent on quality prospects and min time on 'timewasters'
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English and adept at spoken Hindi
- Strong connect with decision makers/CxOs amongst leading consumer electronics brands
- Assertive and respectful to ensure successful follow up without being aggressive and over the top
- Educational Background-MBA with Technical Background (or similar)
- Skilled in creating simple and powerful presentations, techno-commercial proposals and spreadsheets
