National HR Manager (Sales)


Position - National HR Sales Manager

Reporting - HR Head

Team Handling - 3 to 5 people

Profile :

- To head the HR agenda for Sales workforce at PAN India level.

- To create HR strategy & roadmap for the Sales workforce, identify the Hi Pot talent for the succession plan.

- Evolve policies for establishing a robust people management system to increase employee satisfaction and portfolio growth.


- Drive incentive programs for Sales teams at both on-roll and off- roll levels and ensure effective utilization to drive business growth.

- Succession planning and designing of Leadership, Coaching & Mentoring programs.

- Conduct effective induction and socialization program to bring synergy of the new entrants with the organizational culture.

- Ownership of the complete Performance Measurement Systems, Deployment of PMS guidelines across the company.

- Partner with Director Sales, Regional Head's and other Senior stakeholders to craft and effectively execute targeted HR interventions, people practices and talent strategies within the business units with a high degree of focus on scale and growth.

- Build relationship and maintain connect with business managers to ensure proper stakeholder expectations.

- Strategic HR and Business Support


- Evolve strategies in HR framework and policies which will support being more flexible and agile as an organization.

- Create effective communication mechanisms to connect with employees across their entire life cycle and address all types of employee queries and provide the desired support where needed.

- Develop action plans and processes to ensure that all employees are developed to their full potential and that employees' potential is identified, and development plans are in place.

- Serve as an internal consultant & provide ongoing support to the leadership team on HR related matters, policies, and procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile :

- An MBA/ PGDM or equivalent post graduate degree preferably in Human Resource Management.

- Prior experience of working with sales teams especially in sales facing industry will be an added advantage.

- Strong business and HR acumen, including thorough understanding of HR concepts and evolving HR practices.

- Strong bias for action, problem solving and ownership.

- Ability to constantly challenge the status quo and design innovative solutions to unique people challenges and changing business needs.

- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and partner across different levels of the organization to achieve results.
