Job Description :
- Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic National Sales Head for its Mutual Fund Distributors (MFDs) & Retail Sales Channel. Will be responsible for driving the overall sales strategy, managing national sales teams, and expanding the company's retail presence across India. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of the mutual fund industry, excellent relationships with MFDs, and the ability to craft and execute strategies that enhance market share and sales growth.

Description:
Strategic Sales Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the MFDs & Retail Sales
- Channel, aligning with the company's overall business goals.
- Set and achieve ambitious sales targets, ensuring sustainable growth across all regions.
- Lead the national sales team, providing direction, support, and motivation to achieve high performance.
Channel Development & Management:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key MFDs, IFAs, and other retail distribution partners.
- Identify and onboard new distribution partners to expand market reach.
- Ensure optimal product visibility across channels for growing market share.
- Perform research and identify new potential partners and new market opportunities.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team across 75+ locations pan India to achieve sales targets.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales team
Market Analysis & Strategy:
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop targeted sales campaigns and product offerings.
- Ensure the alignment of sales strategies with changing market dynamics and customer expectations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
Profile:
- Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in the financial services industry,with at least 7-8 years in a leadership role managing
- Extensive knowledge of the mutual fund industry, distribution networks, and regulatory environment in
India.
- Already have a deep & entrenched network of Mutual Fund Distributors, especially in Tier 1 markets like Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Bangalore, etc
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing distribution channels, particularly within mutual funds.
