Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced National Sales Head to lead our sales strategy, drive revenue growth, and expand our distribution network across India. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in distribution management, channel sales, and B2B/B2C sales, with a proven track record of scaling businesses and building high-performing sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute national sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.

- Lead and manage a nationwide distribution network, ensuring optimal reach and efficiency.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key partners.

- Oversee channel sales operations, optimizing distributor performance and streamlining processes.

- Identify new market opportunities, develop expansion plans, and drive new product penetration.

- Implement pricing, incentive, and promotional strategies to maximize sales volume and profitability.

- Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions where necessary.

- Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure smooth sales operations.

- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team, setting clear KPIs and growth plans.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and operational standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 12+ years of experience in sales leadership, with at least 5 years in a National/Regional Sales Head role.

- Proven expertise in distribution management, channel sales, and dealer/retailer engagement.

- Strong experience in FMCG, Consumer Durables, Pharmaceuticals, or relevant B2B/B2C industries.

- Excellent leadership skills with experience in managing large sales teams across multiple regions.

- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and drive strategic decision-making.

- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to drive P&L ownership, sales forecasting, and demand planning.

- Proficiency in CRM tools, ERP systems, and MS Office Suite.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in launching new products and markets.

- Understanding of digital sales channels and e-commerce strategies.

- Exposure to international sales and distribution networks is a plus.
