The National Sales Head for the HORECA vertical will be responsible for driving sales and business development initiatives across India. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to achieve revenue goals, building and leading a high-performing team, and establishing a strong presence in the HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, Catering) sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Formulate and execute comprehensive sales and business development strategies tailored for the Indian market to maximize growth and revenue.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a team of Business Development Managers across key cities and regions to drive business goals and ensure effective execution of strategies.
- Growth Acceleration: Implement initiatives to achieve rapid growth in the HORECA sector, establishing the company as a market leader.
- Sales Process Management: Develop and optimize sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in generating revenue.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry leaders.
- Market Analysis: Continuously analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions and stay ahead of industry developments.
- Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators, sales metrics, and business development progress to senior management.
Qualifications Experience:
Should be Graduate, MBA Preferred with minimum 15 years of experience in HORECA sales, with a proven track record of managing business development on a Pan India scale, specifically within the food and dairy industry including frozen food, ready to eat & ready to cook products, bakery, spices etc.
- Industry Knowledge: Extensive experience in supply chain management within quick commerce, HORECA, including QSR (Quick Service Restaurants), hotels, retail, and catering.
