Roles and Responsibilities:

This role requires the candidate to take full control of the sales and distribution infrastructure of the division. Area/Regional managers will report into this position.

- Owning and hitting/exceeding annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts

- Developing and executing strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base

- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with channel partners

- Understand category-specific landscapes and trends and develop regional strategies in order to drive sales

- Complete national sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results. Review and Reward is a large part of our operations and needs on-going supervision and monitoring.

- Develop of the annual sales plan. Prepare forecasts and KPI reporting for the sales leaders and the entire team below. Be responsible for organizational planning, financial forecasting, budget setting and strategic planning.

- Work collaboratively across teams - including Product Development, Sales Support, Accounts, Finance, HR and Factory Production

- Working closely with marketing to develop and execute BTL/ATL activities, including schemes/promos/schemes for trade partners

- Expansion of rural/semi-rural distribution network into urban towns and cities

- Be responsible for the Gross Profit and Net P/L of the entire division.

- Induct new joiners into the sales team and also regularly supervise the training sessions at various levels of the organization.

Requirements

- Must have worked in a process driven organization, handling the responsibility of sales of at least 3 states. The idea candidate would have had national level sales and P/L responsibility.

- Mixed of rural and urban territory experience is a must, along with first-hand experience of leading both general and modern trade channels.

- The idea candidate would have handled profitable business / portfolio of brands worth min INR 150Cr.

- Analytical ability is a must we are a very data driven organization and need our employees to talk only in terms of data and statistics

- Should be thoroughly knowing the North India. This position can be based out of Bangalore, Mumbai or Delhi.

- Have a good working knowledge of sale force automation and distributor management systems (application)

- Have first-hand experience in curating offers/schemes and BTL activities
