Sattviko is a disruptive snacks company that is bringing to life traditional snacks but with a modern twist and with top-notch packaging. The founders are IIT Roorkee alumnus who are serial entrepreneurs and are passionate foodies. The company has in the last 3 years completely covered the Modern trade market and is present in large format retail chains across India. They also cater to large institutions such as Taj Hotels, SpiceJet etc.
Under Make in India programme, the company was conferred the Best Food Brand of India during the 3rd National Entrepreneurship Awards in 2017. They have won the Power2sme Spirit of Manufacturing Awards in 2017 and the founder has made it to Business World 40 under 40 Achievers list. The company has recently raised strategic funding from a bunch of angel investors to topline in next quarter and also expand into international geographies - US, UK and the Middle East.
As the National Sales Head, you will be managing nationwide Sales and Distribution / Channel partners, General Trade for the company.
What you will do:
- Managing the sales team
- Increasing sales and increasing the market share
- Expanding to new cities
- Managing sales and profitability for general trade channel
- Planning and Budgeting for Sales Targets by closely managing and monitoring Working Capital
- Developing sales strategies, and overseeing the development and management of internal operating budgets
- Managing entire Sales team and ensuring smooth functioning of the department
- Marketing and environmental scanning, advising on business trends and changes in the marketplace
- Analysing market trends and behavior to uncover new business and sales opportunities
- Compiling, analyzing and presenting data on competition and the business environment
- Representing the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company
- Developing relationships with key decision makers within the industry
- Supervising the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs
- Promoting positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors
- Developing processes and systems for enhancing efficiency in the Business
- Working closely with the business heads and top management in managing the consistency of the brand and supporting them with initiatives which are in line with the business objectives
Candidate Profile:
What you need to have:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in FMCG (beverages or snacks) in different regions; should have definitely worked in RSM role
- Should have worked in at least two different FMCG (beverages or snacks) companies
- MBA preferred but not mandatory
- Male candidates preferred
- Should have managed FMCG (Beverages or snacks). Brands that have a low price point product as a key business driver such as Rs.10
- Ideally should have worked (or is still working) in brands that have Super Stockist model in distribution
- Should have managed a team of people and scale of business that will allow him to take on larger challenges
- Strong commercial acumen and key account development skill
- Flexible for moderate travel - Pan India
- Strong Communication Skills
