Our client is a professionally managed FMCG company, and the market leader in their segment with a product range of around 200+ SKUs etc.

We are looking for YOU -as a National Sales Head to define and implement long-term Category, Sales & Distribution strategy and Annual Sales Plan based on the overall company & Group's strategy.

You will:

- Lead the general trade sales teams in translating strategy into sales business plans and go-to-market strategy within budgeted costs.

- Prepare and maintain annual sales & distribution plans to deliver budgeted revenue, Profit and Brand equity targets for the year based on category and channel.

- Handling PAN India Sales, Marketing & Distribution for, GT Channel.

- Create and implement effective direct sales strategies and lead nationwide direct sales teams towards achievement

- Identify and resolve issues and opportunities at the Brand/Category level looking at internal and external trends. Enhance forecasting accuracy by channels and accounts and maintain updated inventory within target levels at trade.

- Enhance market penetration by setting up and managing the General trade distribution

- Set up and maintained effective trade marketing plans aimed at accomplishing organizational Promotional Activities, Samplings, Consumer Offers, Sales schemes etc.

Ideally, we expect YOU to be

- Exposed to Sales, Business Development (All Channels - GT, MT, Ecom, etc.) in the FMCG (Food Companies) with at least 15 years of team leadership

- Strategic Sales & Distribution Planning

- Operations Management, Budget & Cost Management (P&L)

- Market & Trend Analysis

- New Product Launch

- Skilled in General Trade (GT) and exposed to existing and newer markets
