ROLE SUMMARY / JOB PURPOSE:

We are looking for a competent Sales Head to be in charge of the organizations Sales ventures.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a passion for the job, able to employ unique sales techniques.

He/ She should be able to communicate the business's KPIs and targets to the team on a regular basis, analyses patterns in consumer and market behavior, and subsequently defines data-driven action strategies in order to consistently optimize the business's commercial performance. 

The goal is to increase the company's market share and maximize revenues in order to thrive against competitors. 

He / She should be data-driven that requires commercial acumen and a deep understanding of the consumer base, the competitive market, and an ability to analyze sales department performance. 

He/ She will be an integral part of the business which involves the management of external partners and collaborations with numerous internal functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Designing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies focusing on demand generation that further the functions agenda and drives enhanced revenue generation for the business. 

- Developing weekly/monthly/annual and seasonal sales targets for the team, examining growth opportunities, enabling sales improvements, product mix development, and taking responsibility for the departments performance against targets. 

- Create manpower plan for Sales function in accordance with the new cities launch and build up Sales Teams in the upcoming cities. Also, responsible for designing strategies focusing on the new city launch. 

- Supervising the team and providing guidance and feedback to other Sales professionals. 

- Establishing and overseeing the adoption of functional vision and values, which forms part of the work culture. Act as a mentor to key positions within the sales function, assisting in the execution of duties upon request, honing their professional skills, and readying them for occupation of his position in his absence. 

- Determine detailed analyses of sales performance for the purpose of reporting sales strategy successes, weaknesses, and opportunities to the management. 

- Monitors and observes the brand and makes forecasts, identifying new trends ahead of the curve, hence, offering the business a competitive advantage and keeping it ahead of its competition in the market

- Supervise and monitor the processing of relevant data and information, translating it into actionable strategies that drive sales and lead to achievement of targets. 

- Assist in product development, pricing and new product launches as well as developing new business opportunities. 

- Collaborate and work closely with Business Development team to understand the existing and upcoming inventory and strategize sale plan accordingly. 

- Collaborate with Marketing team and plan the marketing and promotional activities focusing on demand generation for existing and upcoming inventory. 

- Competitor and customer insights analysis. 

- Analysis of sales forecasts and relevant financials and reporting on product sales

REQUIREMENTS

- Proven experience as Sales Head 

- Excellent leadership and organizing skills 

- Analytical and leadership thinking 

- Exquisite communication and interpersonal skills 

- Customer-oriented approach with aptitude

15 to 20 years
