About School Cinema:
School Cinema is a researched film-based learning module supported by a fun and exciting workbook, designed to introduce and reaffirm life-skills, values and morals to children, parents and educators. This program helps influence young minds to make better choices for themselves as young adults, ensuring that they grow into confident and responsible individuals. Launched in 2010, School Cinema has learning modules for classes 1 to 10 that can be easily integrated into CBSE, ICSE or any state board curriculum and evaluated for CCE. Today, we are proud to have more than 300 schools across India who has implemented
School Cinema and over 100,000 students are benefitting from it.
Going forward, we are looking at aggressive expansion of School Cinema through the franchisee development route.
The ROLE:
- As a leader within the School Cinema Sales & Marketing team, this role serves as a key contributor and driver of School Cinema’s strategic growth initiatives and would report to the National Sales Head
CORE RESPONSIBILITY:
- Define the profile of desired franchise partner, experience level and net worth; targets research to source qualified candidates
- Appointing Sales Franchisees for the School Cinema brand across the country and helping them set up the sales and training infrastructure
- Analyzing the franchisee and School requirements and service them accordingly in order to achieve the Region Targets
- Execute the new franchisee processes from inquiry to document execution, including working with Corporate Finance,Legal, Sales and Marketing team
- Maintain full compliance of all franchise agreements and protect School Cinema contractual rights
- Conceptualization and execution of lead generation/marketing activities under the Franchisee geography.
- Leveraging relationships with existing franchisees, schools and potential new customers
OTHERS:
- Provide potential Franchisees with accurate and through information
- Assist in the development and on-going revisions of all franchise related contracts
- Produce appropriate data and reports to illustrate progress make toward completing/attaining franchise sales goals
- Manage and monitors progress of franchised development schedule and executes renewals, extensions and termination
- Other avenues of monetization for School Cinema including New Media like DTH, Mobile, IPTV etc.
Requirements of the role:
- Keen Interest in the education/entertainment industry
- Minimum 4-5 years of Sales & marketing experience from cash & carry, retail or institutional sales – however not mandatory
- B-School passout from Tier 1 or Tier 2 institutes
- Experience in opening new stores, franchisees on a ROI based model
- Channel management and Relationship Building Skills
- Optimization of cost of operations.
- Travel: Ability and willingness to travel extensively
- Solid computer software skills in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
