- Appoint recovery agencies and manage them through the collection managers

- Focus on the agency productivity as also manage cost of collections and adherence to process.

- Responsible for handling National collections for rural vertical which comprises of Group loans, ST Personal Loans, Two Wheeler and Loan against property.

- Focused loss mitigation plans, strategies and implementation.

- Manage and resolve all customer complaints arising out of collection initiatives

- Ensure collection of fees from default customers and attempt to make the function cost neutral

- Identify and repossess and disposal of assets in chronic default cases.

- Devising strong legal strategies for the eligible accounts.

- Ensuring speedy resolution of queries and grievances to maximize satisfaction levels; maintaining excellent relations with all the departments to ensure collective efforts towards maintaining portfolio at its best.

- Work with hand in hand with all department as every department is directly or indirectly associated with portfolio management.

- Give them timely feedback about current situation and market update so to can drive organization in correct direction.

- Candidates must have experience in Rural collections, must have handled external vendors.

- Must have experience in handling large teams.

Expertise required/ Domain Knowledge:

- Ability to effectively communicate with the public

- Good analytic skills, judgment and ability to make independent decisions informed by both quantitative and qualitative data (including informal feedback from stakeholders and non-business context: socio-political-religious environmental factors)

- Ability to work with minimal direction. Self-starter

- Good interpersonal, relationship management, customer service, and rapport building skills.

- Good leadership and people management skills, with ability to manage people both directly and indirectly at multiple levels and remotely

- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, delegate, and proactively resolve problems

- Demonstrated potential to take initiative in building a growing customer base and team

Any specific specialization/education:

- Should be Graduate / MBA from recognized university

- 10- 15 years' experience required in Financial services preferably Microfinance, Rural Management strongly preferred
