Job Title: Head - Logistics (National Manager) Location: Mumbai- HO Reporting to: Director of Supply chain and Logistics Team size: 5/6 members Area of work: Logistics, warehousing, primary and secondary distribution Objective of the position: Responsible for all India sales logistics operations to ensure on time delivery of the stocks from CDC and RDC to distributors and dealers Description of the main task -&nbsp; - Responsible for logistics costs planning and control. - Responsible for purchasing logistics services through online tendering tool (Ti-contract). - Responsible for Inventory management by conducting periodic stock audits and reconciliation. - To check and approve the logistics vendor Invoices as per the contracted rates. - To review the existing logistics processes, instructions and guidelines and update them as per current business operations. - Review and manage the third party warehouses and distribution operations. - Define the service level and ensure periodic review and publish the service level achievements. - To ensure the adherence of the local law tax and weight and measure department. - Perform complex data analysis to assist in key tactical and strategic decisions. Team Management: - To set and monitor the performance matrix and provide feedback on their performance/potential. - To equip the team with behavioral training to develop their competencies. We are looking at Mumbai /Maharashtra based candidates with minimum 10 years experience in Logistics, warehousing, primary and secondary distribution from Consumer Durable industry.
