National Key Accounts Manager


About the role: To work with an organization's key accounts / customers to build long-term, strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the Modern trade, E.com and Key Accounts businesses in organized trade.

- The MT Head is responsible for the sales planning & achievements within budgetary parameters extended for the channel at Pan India level for the specified period.

- Ensure compliance and adherence to existing Terms of Trade (TOT). Negotiate new TOTs with National, Regional or Local chains considering P&L objective laid down in the AOP for the specified year.

- Aligning Annual Joint Business plans with the key customers to ensure requisite buy ins from all concerned on various business objectives for the year. To review at regular juncture and take course correction wherever required.

- Achieve Annual budgets - Top line & Bottom line. P&L responsibility for the channel Pan India.

- To push NPDs listing, Assortment GAP filling & working towards opening up NEW chains to drive inorganic growth whenever opportunity arises.

- Controlling credit limit by adopting effective credit policy. Regular follow- up for payments & outstanding if any.

- Develop monthly/Quarterly activity calendar for the chains across country.

- Develop monthly/Quarterly visibility calendar for the chains across country.

- Closing monthly/Quarterly promotions for the chains across country considering laid down parameters of S&D.

- Identifying issues and the opportunities at Brand/Category level looking at internal and external trends.

- To work with the Product management team to proactively activate listing process with the chains/Customers

- To plan, co-ordinate and execute new ideas/ways of consumer engagement drives on the store floor.

- Continuous focus on increasing availability of our Products and increase shelf space by effective facilitation of planograms & other inputs at ground level.

- Implementing shopper programs and Visibility drives

- Monitoring all key brand Activities.

- Keeping up-to-date with market trend and competition. To share, discuss & put together counter strategy with discussion with all stake holders.
