- Manage sales targets and supervise the activities of field sales executives
- Provide inputs for rolling out incentive schemes, run marketing campaigns and ensure resources are utilized optimally
- Manage relationships with distributor and dealer networks, ensure timely payments, sales sustenance and look for growth opportunities
- Oversee monthly and quarterly sales planning, develop the Annual Operating Plan and liaise with logistics, plant and R&D teams to forecast channel inventory
- Ensure that the sales targets are met by channel partners, profitability of the team is steady, resources are utilized optimally and overall team productivity is high
- Oversee the development of channel expansion/contraction strategy, look out for potential channel partners and conduct due diligence of new distributors
- Keep a check on the financial health of channel partners, ensure timely payments and guide the distributors in credit collection
- IN ORDER TO maintain effective relations with channel partners and meet budgeted sales targets
- Lead and manage a team of field sales executives for Power Solutions Business division
- Provide development opportunities to the team of field sales executives and ensure career paths and succession plans are charted out, reviewed and updated
- Set and communicate clear performance expectations, coach, provide support and regular feedback to the team of field sales executives and manage their performance and upskilling requirements
