Job Description - Its a national key acc manager's role for an fmcg company
Client Details
Our client is one of the leading FMCG companies with a strong foothold in India; they have delivered consistently through premium standardisation and quality control of their products and have plans for subsequent expansion of the business. They are looking for a Key Account Manager to manage pan India operations and develop relationships with modern trade partners in the Indian market.
Description
The chosen candidate would report to the Sales Director and be responsible for the following:
- Execute annual plans for the organisation's product range including value, volume, SKU mix and margin targets in Modern Trade and Key Accounts
- Manage end to end sales processes with the partners in order to meet revenue targets
- Create and implement strategies to seek out potential partners and develop associations with them while developing and meeting month on month sales forecasts
- Implement and administer sales systems, reporting, distributor policies, stock norms, application of credit and discounts, billing and collections for partners
- Develop, negotiate, sell and execute optimal TOT for pan India accounts
- Managing and developing NPD forecasts
- Develop in-store visibility plans and follow-up to achieve timely & effective implementation
- Execute and develop merchandising strategies for the partners
- Build positive and impacting relationship with all channel partners within the framework of company policies
- Ensure morale and motivation levels of front-line sales force
Profile
- The successful applicant should be a graduate from a good b-school, having at least 8 years of extensive experience in sales and account management in the FMCG space and an overall understanding of the different segments and channels in India.
- He/she should have an analytic approach towards understanding and solving problems and have a proven experience in driving and leveraging people skills and motivations. An experience on the vendor side as well as in handling canteen store departments is welcomed.
