We are an Executive Search firm based out of by the name Laksh HR Pvt. Ltd. Noida with expertise in handling assignments at Middle & Senior level management. We also cater to cross section of industries like Engg /Manufacturing, Infrastructure/Real Estate, IT, Media, FMCG & Retail, Telecom, Banking, Insurance & Financial Services.

We have been retained by our client, one of the leading FMCG MNC as they are looking for National Key Accounts Manager - Modern Trade for Mumbai Location.

Job Description National Key Accounts Manager

Overall Obligation:

- The National Key Account Manager is responsible for the overall performance of assigned Modern Trade key account being handled centrally. He/she assist the Channel Manager- Modern trade in delivering the overall sales objectives, supervises, fine-tunes and monitors the execution and takes pro-active initiatives to cease every opportunity to increase the sales in accordance with the companies’ policies and strategies.

- The National Key Account Manager is to discuss and set clear targets and strategies for accomplishment of the same in alignment with the Channel Manager- Modern trade and track its fulfillment.

- He/she also supports the regional Key Account Managers in accomplishment of their targets.

Detailed Responsibilities (non-conclusive):

Business Objectives

1) Planning and Negotiating strategic alliances with key chains

- Developing quarterly activity/ promotional calendar specific to outlet and chain

- Strategize / execute zone specific brand objectives within budget and time

- Liasoning with Marketing/ S&CM for branding activities at stores

2) To evolve & achieve Strategic Annual Operating Business Plans for the defined National Key Accounts.

3) Develop Modern Trade by conducting Strategic Alliance tie-ups, consumer promotions, building relations & image of overall existence of the company in Modern Trade.

4) To achieve volume and value objectives of the assigned zones within budget, time and policy parameters through Efficient control of the network under charge.

5) Responsible for Controlling Prominent Shelf Space and Merchandising Unit Positioning in all Key Accounts.

Marketing Liasoning

1) To work coactively with all Brand Management Team to develop Consumer awareness /image / preference by Executing Planned Consumer Promotions & Events At Quarterly Basis.

2) Proactively Own a Product Launch Calendar & help Brand Managers in Planning and Launching New Product, clearly identifying its need, communication, incremental volume, sell-in-norms, merchandising norms & the brand strategy.

3) Execute Marketing events and Promotional Programme by conducting brand-wise promotions basis the outlets / Marketing activity calendar.

Financial Responsibilities

1) Operate/ Achieve Channel Costs as budgeted for the year

2) Documentation And Prior Approval Of All TOTs (i.e. terms of trade) for audit purposes

3) Settling chain wise Claims (damages, trade schemes, misc. debit notes) within stipulated timeframe

4) Submitting NOCs (No Objection certificate) from vendors on a quarterly basis

Outlet Responsibilities

1) Responsible for Correct Placements & Maintaining all Company Marketing Assets in coordination with the RKAM’s/ S&CM and Marketing team.

2) Maintain a Database of all Modern Trade Outlets (administrative, commercial, business details)

3) Plan a Regular (Monthly) Journey Plan with regional modern trade personnel

Reporting / Administration

1) Report Accurate Timely Information as scheduled and in the defined regular format.

2) Monitor Activities And Sales Promotions on weekly / monthly basis to determine deviations from plans and take necessary corrective actions

Competition Tracking Responsibilities

1) Track competition activities monthly in chain / modern trade outlets. Document and communicate the same to the brand & sales management team in the monthly review meeting.

2) Ensure proper and immediate feedback for appropriate and timely action

Required Qualification:

Education: Graduate in any principle.

- Degree / Diploma in Business Management or related subject preferred

- 5-8 years experience in Sales

- Minimum 3 years responsibility for handling Modern Trade in India

- PC Know-how: Good MS-Office skills

- Languages: excellent command of spoken and written English

Secrecy:

- The incumbent is strictly obliged to keep company-information as a secret, especially after termination of the labor-relation.

Organisation:

- The National Key Account Manager reports to the Channel Manager- Modern trade
