National Head/Zonal Head - Collections - NBFC

Our client is one of the leading lending institutions in India.

Job Description:

1. Candidate needs to drive the recoveries for all retail asset classes like mortgages/LAP/Auto/CV/CE/unsecured loans etc across the zone/country

2. Own the number targets

3. Provide leadership to the collection teams

4. Create a robust outsourcing infrastructure for different activities

5. Identify newer ways to offer optimum solutions to the borrowers for resolution

6. Understand the business objectives and align collections efforts to the same

7. Training the teams extensively

8. Follow all the internal guidelines, IBA guidelines as well as law of land while doing collections

9. Ensure that there is no reputation loss to the company due to the actions of his team and himself

10. Possession and auction of underlying assets by following due process

11. Team management and grooming of talent

The successful candidate:

1. Must have exposure to Retail collections

2. Proven experience of managing large teams

3. Must be aware of all legal documents and processes

4. Good at negotiations with borrowers and have judgemental ability about optimal settlements considering asset value, legal stage and commercial impact

5. Portfolio planning and analytical skills, comfort with numbers and data

6. Awareness of recent techniques and technological interventions Retail assets business

7. Ability to understand the business model, big picture and dovetail the action plan to the requirement of overall business objectives

8. Exposure to Risk, Policy, Sales, Customer handling will be an added advantage
