Head Retail Operations

Job Responsibilities :

1. Design and oversight of the operational processes supporting customer acquisition, portfolio servicing, reconciliation of collections, cross-sell of loans and various regulatory compliance of lending businesses

a. Onboarding of the customers comprising KYC, income related information, product details, contract documents, repayment instruments

b. Disbursement, receipt of dues, servicing of in-life portfolio

c. Maintenance of operating procedures, compliance, support of various audits etc

d. Management information systems

2. Lead the operating teams including goal-setting, performance management and leadership development

3. Development of vendors who can perform outsourced tasks in a compliant and efficient manner

4. Manage the budget and deliver productivity and digitization to reduce time to market

Experience and skill-set :

1. Experience of 15 years or more in managing Operations of a mid-sized Retail portfolio at any leading Banking/financial services company

2. Demonstrated expertise in managing operational processes pertaining to loan issuance, presentation of mandates, servicing processes during the customer lifecycle like mandate bounces, late payment, part-payment, foreclosures and application of cash collections against various customer dues.

3. Expertise in digitization of the operational processes to enhance control, reduce TAT and deliver productivity. Good understanding of the capabilities of loan management systems.

4. Leadership and communication skills

5. Ability to simplify processes, digitize to reduce time to market for various operational initiatives. Experienced in driving quality improvement

Qualifications :

1. Graduate degree in Engineering, Commerce, Economics or any relevant discipline.

2. Good communication and facilitation skills. Ability to manage change.
