National Head - Recovery - Bank

Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for the recovery - SME now has over 4000 clients, 37 branches and over a 1000cr portfolio and has reached a scale and size that requires creating a team that can manage the fraud risk across functions, employees, clients, and agencies.

As the head of the function, defining and implementing the recovery strategy for the company, you will be building and guiding a high-performing team, appoint recovery / legal agencies on locations and ensure all recovery parameters are achieved for the company.

Responsibilities:

STRATEGIC/MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develops and implements a recovery strategy in line with the company objectives.

- Supports the development of the workforce plan for the recovery function for creating a high-performing team.

- Manages and controls the operating framework for the recovery function, provides guidance and support, ensures implementation and review of work processes in order to achieve high-performance standards and continuous improvement

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Maximize recovery reversal from assigned NPA written off portfolio through closures, settlement, and disposal of collateral.

- Ensure timely initiation and execution of legal tool: Warrants execution under Section -138/ Section -25, Timely execution Sarfaesi, Resolution of Fraud transaction by filing FIRs, Attachment of collateral/other properties through Sarfaesi Arbitration and attachment of bank accounts through Arbitration and other available tools.

- Facilitation in the liquidation of possessed properties; Connecting with local brokers and facilitating property visits to prospective buyers. Comply with complete auction terms; Documents , Bids, and sale amount deposition.

- Coordination with respective legal managers to attend courts for early release of orders Possession coordination and Enforcement of Sarfaesi in collaboration with the legal team.

Job Requirements:

- Should have worked in a similar position for at least 2 years with an overall 15+ yrs experience.

- Should have experience of managing Unsecured and secured business at a National Role in the past.

- Thorough knowledge of the recovery legal process is a must.

- Should be well versed with Sarfaesi procedures.

- Should be open for extensive traveling.

- Should be able to liaison with Advocates and Police stations across markets for the execution of Warrants and Execution Petition enabling speedy recovery of dues.

- Should be at least a graduate, preferably MBA
