- To act as independent advisor to UHNI customers and be responsible for reviewing customer portfolio's with an objective of being right by the customer
- Achieve 100% coverage across the UHNI base at a bi-annual frequency and also drive the Portfolio Counselling team to achieve 100% of their respective coverage base
- Achieve an overall positive AUM (Net Sales) growth (10%) across the clients met through active engagement and portfolio review; positive to Negative AUM growth ratio also to be greater than one on a consistent basis
- Review customer portfolios with the bank as well as with other advisors with the objective of offering unbiased recommendations; track share of wallet of the customer and work towards deepening their relationship with the bank by achieving client satisfaction on portfolio review quality
- Assist bankers with upgrade of the clients and activate inactive accounts; to assist the Private Bankers with proposal and portfolio construction for potential NTB customers
- Seek feedback from clients on new product ideas and work closely with the investment product team in formulating product strategy
- Ensure that the banks house view is being driven through the RMs to the clients and also work closely with them in maintaining a diversified portfolio and instilling a portfolio level approach vis-a-vis transaction specific one
- Manage and team of portfolio counselors who are responsible for Client Meetings with the Top 800 clients of the bank which represent more than 50% of the AUMs. Responsible for increasing NPS, AUMs and Share of Wallet for UHNI clients through superior quality engagement
- Leading the Investment Product Committee on Product Selection, Asset Allocation Strategies, Model Portfolio and Strategic & Tactical allocations.
- Supervisory -Managing a team of Portfolio Counselors covering different regions of the country. Each of these PCs come with extensive capital market experience and are seasoned senior professions
- Assessing changes in Regulatory framework and aligning business model for required changes. Member of the Business Investment Committee
- Developing, Maintaining and Upgrading Portfolio Review tools for UHNI clients to facilitate high quality engagement with clients
- Support High net worth client acquisition strategy by making joint presentations with Branch Banking Heads, Regional Investment Counselors and Bankers
- Engaged in resolving client escalations for UHNI clients
- Multiple point of contact with high net worth clients, to ensure continuity during RM transition and to reduce client attrition risk
Skillset Required -
- MBA/Post Graduate with 12years + work experience
- The role requires a combination of effective communication skills, strong analytical abilities and in depth understanding of financial markets and investments. Prior sales, relationship management or client-facing experience is a must. Further, experience on the investment product wherein one has been actively involved in understanding of products, due-diligence, engagements with fund managers, research teams, etc. helps immensely in this role. Additionally, demonstrated analytical abilities in the form of financial modeling, statistical analysis, etc. is preferred
