Role:
The primary role of this position is to lead the warehouse operations in India to achieve the organizational vision, mission, and objectives. The incumbent would be accountable for Infrastructure, People, Processes & customer service. The incumbent will facilitate highly innovative global best practices in operations across a broad range of business sectors and to have a long-term vision and ability to lead the team with adaptable skills to confront change and critical thinking.
Job Description:
1. Build and execute the finest customer centric and profitable supply chain in India with a strong focus on cost and speed.
2. Focus on the strategic implications of emerging global best practises and technologies and their utilisation in business to improve customer satisfaction, customer service and operational efficiencies.
3. Designing and executing an aggressive strategic plan for the implementation of supply chain solutions to improve the business practices and contribute to the company's operating margin.
4. Ensure to execute to the highest levels of efficiency adopting at all times making use of best practice experience thereby increasing productivity and resulting in the reduction of cost and time to market.
5. Optimize the business to generate greater efficiencies and bottom line impact by retention of old clients and roping in new clients.
6. Drive continuous improvements, lean operations, 5S and other best practices of supply chain operations.
7. Drive to improve consistency, reliability and predictability of supply chain.
8. Develop a strong people capability, training and ecosystem to build tomorrow's operation's leaders.
Technical / Functional Competency:
1. Warehouse & 3 PL Management
2. Demand & Supply Chain Planning
3. Knowledge of WMS platform
4. SAP - MM/SD Module
5. Ability in addressing operational issues, resolving performance bottlenecks and achieving desired objectives.
6. Expertise in managing multiple activities across a gamut of functions with demonstrated abilities in increasing profits and accomplishing the set targets.

Qualification & Experience Required: BE (from IITs) with MBA (from IIMs) or from a premier Institute with a minimum of 20 years of experience in a similar profile
