National Head of Management
Responsibilities :
Strategic Leadership:
- Actively participate in developing and implementing the organization's construction project operational strategy.
- Establish and maintain policies, quality standards, administrative procedures, and reporting frameworks to optimize cost reduction and operational efficiency.
- Foster strong collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Design, Procurement, Approvals, Accounts & Finance, to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Identify and implement innovative construction industry trends and best practices to continuously improve operational efficiency.
- Cultivate a culture of creative thinking and empower construction management teams through training and development initiatives.
Operational Excellence:
- Champion the implementation of new work methods to drive operational efficiency across projects.
- Develop and execute joint strategies for project execution, including setting up project-based teams with an optimal use of the outsourcing model.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and handover of projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality and satisfaction for both internal and external customers.
- Implement strategies for continuous improvement in customer satisfaction by minimizing internal and external customer complaints.
People Management:
- Provide leadership and direction to operational teams, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Conduct performance management, including annual appraisals, for construction management staff.
- Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors to achieve successful project delivery.
- Identify training needs for operational teams and facilitate ongoing development opportunities.
- Implement strategies to retain top talent and minimize attrition within the construction management function.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 8 years of demonstrably successful experience in construction management leadership roles, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, best practices, and industry trends.
- Excellent strategic thinking, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams across diverse locations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
