Description - The incumbent will be responsible for leading development and delivery of short & long-term demand category strategies to drive sales revenues & optimise profitability at a category and channel level. The purpose is to influence shopper behaviour's and convert more shoppers and transactions by creating compelling insights, activation's, marketing calendar, promotions for the mutual benefit of the organisation, our customers, and shoppers.

Our client is a Global player with well known Brands nationally and amongst the market leaders in its category. They are looking for a National Customer Marketing Head. This role will be based out of Gurugram, Delhi NCR.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Bringing deep channel understanding across Traditional trade (Urban and Rural markets), Modern Trade, Digital Commerce and Alternate channels, understanding needs of key customers, and shoppers unique to each channel, towards shaping organisational strategy and driving share growth
- Leverage strength of portfolio across categories of products, to ensure right picture of success is developed by channel.
- Bring agility and adaptability to changing external channel landscapes, understand customer and shopper needs while ensuring maximising investment ROI, delivering effective plans that drive conversion
- Have joint ownership with Sales and Marketing Team of volume and NSV deliveries of the respective CBUs, jointly leading risk-opportunity analysis, plan development. Assess portfolio gaps basis consumption occasions, to deliver relevant portfolio diversity. Work with CE and sales team leading to timely execution and reviews of plans.
- Drive category thinking organisation wide, develop and deploy category initiatives with customers.
- Lead generation of shopper insights with CMI and understand them thoroughly, feeding these into brand plans
- Work with Global Customer and Category teams to leverage global learning's as well as build relevant local know how and capability for India.
- Partner Demand leads to deliver the best coverage model and store segmentation, delivering the best portfolio, promotion, Front-End and visibility solutions. Ensure most efficient use of resources - Trade and BTL investments as well as execution bandwidth
- Develop and managing customer marketing talent
- Sales experience handling traditional trade is mandatory
- MT/E-Com Key account management experience would be an added advantage.
- Previous Trade marketing experience in FMCG
- Excellent Team Management Skills & Communication Skills
