There is a Vacancy for National Head Collection Tractor & Farm Equipment with one of the leading Finance Company(NBFC)
Key Objective of the Job:
- Responsible for managing the collection process and ensuring that over dues are within trigger levels.
Major Deliverables:
- Ensure that the NPAs are kept at minimum trigger levels
- Ensure that roll forward rates to higher buckets are kept within defined parameters
- Ensure that all the agencies in the region perform as per defined SLA
- Ensure that the team adheres to the defined processes and policies while dealing with delinquent customers
- Clarity on legal aspects wrt sec138, 9 & 17 vis a vis rural challenges and business requirements.
- Stock yard & recovery for loss booked cases
- Developing a strong collection team at local level.
- Regionwise/ Areawise collection strategy for effective but friendly handling of customers/ farmers.
- Timely MIS reporting to all concerned.
- Ensuring low employee attrition levels in the region
- Providing support to the sales team and credit team in identifying negative areas and negative profiles .
- Providing support to the CRM team in developing systems that meet the local requirements
- Providing support to the sales team in identifying correct channel partners in synch with TATA Capital philosophy
- Local contacts with administrative authorities.
- Geographical All India exposure.
Specialized job competencies:
- Knowledge of Rural customer profile, Tractor selling/ usage, farmers earnings, crops, inputs and geographical / seasonal drivers and challenges in Rural Markets.
- Knowledge of Collection norms, policies and controls for Tractor/ Equipment/ Rural financial/business products.
- Leading the internal and external Collection teams including Collection Agencies and interacting with external customers for Systematic, successful, faster and timely collection of funds with an eye on NPA.
- To ensure Collection of funds as per the strict target and has a strong aptitude for developing relationship with the customers and marketing forces for utmost customer satisfaction and thus achieving the goals of the organization.
- MIS, Reporting, developing business strategies and Launching of Collection policy/norms and motivating / training the team to deliver as per targets.
Educational Qualification:
- Graduate/ Postgraduate in any discipline or B.Tech (Agri)/ Diploma/ Degree in Finance.
Desired Experience:
- Minimum 15 years experience in managing Collections.in 2-3 Zones or pan India
Other desired attributes:
- Proven track record Collections of Loans disbursed to customers for tractor/rural equipment financing.
- Should be meticulous and detailed in approach - should follow the operational processes and controls as per - SOP-
- Excellent customer service/ support skills, ability to work well under pressure & a professional demeanor
- Target oriented, systematic & aggressive
- Strong Analytical skills and collectibles financial knowledge
