Job Role Head-Collections

Department - Collections

Position reporting to Senior Vice President.

No. of Direct Reports - 6-8, including State Collections Heads, Recovery Head, Legal Managers.

Functional Responsibilities :-

- Driving the company's Goal sheet related to collections and meeting the PAR, NPA, LLP & NCL targets via collections efficiency.

- Annual planning of collection's budget including manpower, agency, telecalling & legal cost.

- Driving collection strategy including day to day monitoring, tracking and delivery of the collection's portfolio assigned on the required efficiencies.

- Day to day team management, mentoring, up-skilling & ensuring longevity/retention of team.

Experience :-10+ Years of collections in Banking/NBFC with experience in mortgage collections.

Functional Competencies:

- Sound Knowledge on Basic fundamentals of collections, bucket management & NPA recoveries including regulatory guidelines in collections.

- Sound Knowledge of legal aspects related to mortgages, collections/recovery/repossession and related litigations.

- Sound experience on handling collection's agencies, telecalling units and dealing with various vendors (Lawyers, Repossession agencies, ARCs etc.).

- Experience in using analytics for improving the collection's efficiencies.

- Leadership qualities to handle & drive large teams.

- Good interpersonal & communication skills. Ability to interact with cross functional teams for bringing synergy into overall delivery.

- Agility & flexibility to drive newer concepts/initiatives.
