Product Portfolio Manager - Naprod Life Sciences

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

Product Selection Strategy :

- Prepare Portfolio strategy and product identification processes and SOPs

- Develop Annual New Product Development to commercialization Plan along with next year's Product Pipeline in place; Review, Validate & update the same on regular basis

- Portfolio analysis to create a wish list in new identified areas

- Provide development benchmarking data and analysis to senior management

Prioritization & Market Analysis :

- Develop Potential Product list in line with market, customer, revenue growth, competition to be focused. Float the same with CFT(F&D/TechServ/BD) to validate its commercial & technical feasibility

- To monitor the broader market & continuously evaluate all existing company products in terms of how they perform relative to each other - how that relative performance suggests the company should strategically prioritize products, and what gaps in the portfolio should be addressed to evaluate most viable opportunities for new markets, increased revenue, and other business objectives

Value Maximization :

- Lead the new Product identification & recommendation for domestic and international markets to strengthen the product portfolio in chosen therapies

- Facilitating Business forecasts from Business heads and validating the same

- Co-ordination with BDMs to capture and analyse various opportunities on a Domestic or International scale.

- To keep track of New Product Approvals world-wide.

Launch Support :

- Serve as custodians of Product Full Kit - Interface between Business & Regulatory to prepare Full Kit Dossier/Documents.

- Product Database management and alignment with F&D/R&D & liasoning with Program management to track development.

KEY INTERFACES :

External Interfaces : Consultants, Market Research agencies, Industry peers in Pharma

Internal Interfaces : R & D/ IP/ Regulatory/ Finance/ Regional Teams/ Senior Management/ Program Management.

QUALIFICATION :

- Post Graduate/Graduate in Pharma or MBA in Marketing

- Experience Range ; 8- 10 years Desirable experience: 8 - 10 years of experience in Pharma industry with 3-5 years in relevant portfolio planning.

SKILLS REQUIRED :

- Functional Skills ; Formulation/ API Product Knowledge

- MS-Excel data management - IMS Data Analysis

- Relevant product & science knowledge

- Understanding of Key Pharma market dynamics

- Awareness of Regulatory/IP aspects

- Business forecasting and financial analysis

- Excellent presentation skills.
