Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in fulfilling their routine corporate secretarial requirements under the Companies Act, 2013.
- Manage the conduct of Board and shareholder meetings, including preparing agendas, drafting minutes, and ensuring proper documentation.
- Maintain statutory registers, minute books, and other corporate records as per legal requirements.
- Handle statutory filings with the Registrar of Companies (ROC) and other regulatory bodies under the Companies Act, FEMA, and SEBI regulations.
- Liaise effectively with regulatory authorities on behalf of clients.
- Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations to ensure client compliance.
- Provide clients with basic legal advice and guidance on corporate governance matters.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Company Secretary (CS) qualification with 2-4 years of experience in a corporate secretarial role.
- Strong understanding of the Companies Act, 2013, FEMA, SEBI regulations, and other relevant laws.
- Excellent knowledge of corporate secretarial practices and procedures.
- Proficient in legal research and analysis.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong work ethic and a proactive approach.
