Facilities Manager at Bloomingdale International School
Position Overview:
Bloomingdale International School is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the schools facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing housekeeping, cafeteria services, security, transportation, and vendor relationships to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Housekeeping: Supervise cleaning services to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the campus.
- Cafeteria: Oversee cafeteria operations, ensuring quality food service, hygiene, and student satisfaction.
- Security: Manage campus security, including overseeing security personnel and ensuring safe access control and emergency protocols.
- Transport: Coordinate transportation services for students and staff, ensuring safety and reliability.
- Vendor Management: Manage contracts and relationships with external service providers (e.g., cleaning, catering, security, transport).
- Budgeting: Monitor and control the facilities budget to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all facilities.
