BUSINESS UNIT AND ROLE OVERVIEW:

While consumer experience has always been a priority for Myntra, the Apps BU has an increased focus now, to innovate and equip all Myntra platforms (Android, iOS & Web) with new digital constructs and allowing the users an even more immersive shopping journey.

The platforms form the core of Myntra storefront and each point of user interaction is of immense value. All initiatives focus on one of the key user metrics - retention/ engagement, while never losing sight of the revenue. How to leverage the power of technology to not just bridge the gaps between online & offline shopping experience, but make the online experience richer and more habit forming is the path forward.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Customer focus: Highly customer obsessed thinking with deep understanding of customer needs and aspirations.

- Product strategy: Own the product strategy and roadmap. Partner with the business team to understand business goals and translate them into short term and long-term product roadmaps. Comfortable in generating a 3-year strategic vision as well as a weekly status update.

- Product development documentation: Generate detailed Business Requirement Document (BRD) and Product Requirement Document (PRD) based on inputs from all key stakeholders. Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to maximize user satisfaction.

- Focus on Technology: Work very closely with world-class Engineering, Data Sciences and QA teams throughout the product development lifecycle. Define the product acceptance testing criteria; ensure that they are met. Stay abreast with new innovations and latest technology trends and explore ways of leveraging these for improving the product.

- Focus on User experience: Attention to detail with ability to work with user interface designers and usability experts to deliver habit forming products with a low learning curve. Knowledge of developing elegant and simple feature functionalities that delivers world-class user experience.

- Focus on Analytics: Identify key success metrics for the product (and features) and ensure that instrumentation has been adequately implemented. Measure the metrics post launch and constantly look for opportunities to optimize the product/feature performance.

- Cross-functional collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to drive and implement the product. Identify, mitigate, communicate, escalate and manage risks early. Promptly resolve issues faced during operationalization by working with different stakeholders.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

3+ years- of product management experience in consumer facing digital products or e-commerce. Total experience of more than 8 + years.

- B.E/ B.Tech from premier schools. MBA a plus.

- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to work with stakeholders.

- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

- Ability to organize, manage, and prioritize tasks. Prior experience working with engineering through complete product lifecycle is a must.

- Ideal candidate should have: Proven ability of building consumer Internet products from grounds up

- Exposure to building mobile products is a big plus.
