Job Description
The Business Analyst is responsible for influencing and enabling key marketing decisions with insights from analytics projects. The analyst will understand business questions and transform them into hypothesis for analysis, gather - interpret and synthesize data.
The person in this position will have numerous exciting opportunities by being a part of the Myntra Research & Insights team
- Conduct analysis to provide insights on Market, Consumer, Competition and efficacy of marketing programs
- Interact directly with a diverse set of senior stakeholders in Marketing, Sales and Category management
- Own and Manage all aspects of an analytics projects from problem definition to insight delivery
- Analyse a wide variety of data, including working large CRM databases or data from Primary/Secondary Research, Data from other internal and external sources (Ex: Google Analytics) as well as data from passive measurement systems
- Apply innovative data analysis methods to derive insights
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with high level of energy who will enjoy working on a variety of projects concurrently, is passionate about trying out new ways of understanding the consumer. The person in this position will be adept at:
- Defining clear hypothesis and conduct analysis on internal/external data to aid business decisions
- Analysing consumer behaviour and trends using a variety of techniques
- Working with different types of data and is flexible in using/learning various tools
- Applying tools such as SQL and R or Python to perform data mining and analysis
- Employing statistical methods such as hypothesis testing (DOE), regression, clustering, association rules etc.
- Using advanced features in Microsoft Excel to aggregate and manipulate data from various sources
- Creating crisp Power Point presentation that can be shared with executive management
