Roles and Responsibilities:

- Develop clear understanding of key business drivers, analyse key financial metrics, provide value add analysis, support to sales / finance management

- Guide the team on rigorous data based analysis for any decision making scenario, bringing out business insights not visible in regular reviews

- Seen as strategic thought partner to business on the roadmap ahead and our right to win

- Influence and drive business decision / action with appropriate analysis and comments.

- Ability to deal with ambiguity and respond with right trade offs

- Demonstrates ability to set broader agenda for a large, critical part of the business and takes people through that

- Handle complex adhoc request with a short turnaround time and supplement such request with appropriate analysis and comments to support decision making

- Builds high performing teams and develops / grows people managers

- Helps individuals achieve more by constantly raise expectations and providing relevant support

- Manage the entire category P&L for apparel and partner with business on the right interventions on growth and profitability

- Participate in joint business plans with external brands and influence on securing the best commercials

- Monitor inventory hygiene and ensure adequate support in terms of vendor funding, return to vendor (RTV)

- Influence business on the right stock holding and optimised working capital

- Lead the AOP exercise for the category with the right levers taking into account the growth and profitability charter

- Bring outside in view on competitive framework - online and offline

- Take final calls on reconciliation issues with external brands and bring perceived win-win situation at least cost to Myntra

- Partner with business on monetising / increasing ads revenue across all brands / categories in Myntra platform

- Influence cross categories to have higher contractual monetisation in their business plans with external brands

- Work with business to ensure adequate supply of monetised slots and ensure right trade offs between revenue (topline) and monetisation (bottom line)

- Possess an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to achieve results in a fast pace and rapid growth environment charactirsed by dynamism and ambiguity

Qualifications & Experience:

- Graduate / Post-Graduate from a tier 1/ tier 2 University or business school / should hold a degree in finance with 8 to 10 years of Relevant Experience

- Prior experience in Ecom (online) or retail Industry (offline) in category roles

- Demonstrate strong Communication / Presentation Skills and ability to work with peers and counterparts / multi location setup / good team leader

- The candidate should be proactive, self-starter, strong Team Leader - Role would require interaction with Cross functional teams
