Director Sales - Life Science instrument


- Join the recognized industry-leading organization as -Director Instrument Sales- Laboratory Sales Solutions (LSS) . We are looking for a high-potential leader ready to join the India leadership team and take on the challenge of leading and delivering high growth, driving market share and the customer experience in the assigned territory.


- You will be reporting to the Country General Manager, LSS, and the position will be leading an organization of 35-40 employees - work with business partners - functional teams. You will be responsible for fostering a high-performance culture including a focus on business financial results.

- As the director of sales, you will be responsible to define, articulate and implement the organization's strategy for business growth - market share. Develop forecasts and strategies to achieve the assigned goals by fostering relationships with new and existing customers

- We are looking for a self-starting professional with managerial experience and a proven track record in sales. This is an excellent opportunity to make a direct and impactful contribution to Agilent by driving competitive differentiation, customer - employee satisfaction and organization efficiency.

Key Responsibilities will be :

- Responsible for delivering the financial order performance within a defined cost framework.

- Motivate and energize the team to make proactive decisions

- Develop a comprehensive annual sales strategy to maximize sales opportunities.

- Create and align teams to weekly , monthly and quarterly sales goals

- Review sales performance by analyzing performance reports.

- Assess the competitive landscape - monitor industry trends and leverage them for business opportunities.

- Investigate factors impacting sales performance.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to penetrate key markets.

- Provide inputs on sales incentive structure and Key performance indicators to help monitor targets.

Qualifications :

- Master-s degree or equivalent in science or Marketing

- 7+ years in sales management in similar industry

- 15+ years in B2B sales

- Requires strong business acumen , proven management skills and ability to lead an organization with strategic approach.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills

- Effective problem solving skills - track record of successful results
