Associate Director - Talent Strategy

This Talent Strategy role serves to lead in curating and defining processes across the entire talent lifecycle. This role focuses on organization or team specific solutions as well as scalable projects and programs in areas such as recruiting practices, performance management, competency models, talent mobility, career path and development planning. Collaboration and partnership with business leaders and HR team members is a big part of the role.

Responsibilities :

Program Design and Implementation :

- Drives the design and implementation of talent programs (e.g., succession management, talent movement, leadership development, talent architecture); with business insight, and implementation approaches and supports in the development of engagement and integration strategies.

- Integrates company culture, leadership principles, and other talent, learning, and organizational development frameworks into talent practices (e.g., talent planning, succession planning)

- Manages Talent Management initiatives by interpreting business needs and leveraging best practices; integrates solutions into other talent management processes and HR plans.

- Develops, guides, and manages the execution of talent management programs (e.g., succession management, talent movement, leadership development, talent architecture)

- Implements talent management tools, methodologies, and principles (e.g., skills assessments, organizational diagnostics, successor talent assessments) to improve benchmarking, evaluation, forecasting, decision-making, and management of talent.

- Follows, contributes to, reinforces, and may help to develop philosophy, strategy, and standards for how Talent Management helps businesses respond to talent-related opportunities and demands (e.g., succession management, talent discussions); helps to develop tools and/or assessments that guide managers to make effective talent-related decisions.

- Evaluates business drivers to make a case for change adoption; assesses risks and benefits of the changes, develops effective change-management strategies, and develops communications and readiness materials to facilitate the transition of Talent Management programs/processes.

Requirements :

- 10+ years of experience in HR practices or Program/Project Management

- Advanced Degree Degree in Human Resources, Organization Development, Business, or related field

- 5+ years of experience managing large-scale or complex projects/programs.

Requirements :

- A bachelor's degree or master's degree in a related field.

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

- Experience with Change Management and related communications

- Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.

- Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
