Myna Mahila Foundation - Fundraising Manager

Myna Mahila is seeking to hire a candidate for the position of Fundraising Manager to provide assistance to the board of the organization in identifying donor resources, raising funds and writing proposals for long-term organizational sustainability.

Myna Mahila Foundation started in 2015 with the mission to provide voice to women all over the world in marginalized communities, helping them speak like the chatty Myna bird. Myna generates local employment to women, who produce and distribute high quality, affordable menstrual hygiene products to increase adoption of safer menstrual hygiene management practices. We are creating a cultural revolution by promoting awareness on womens health and hygiene, through educational sessions, health camps and by providing safe, affordable menstrual products.

Key responsibilities

- Achieving fundraising targets through institutions (corporates, philanthropic organizations, multi-lateral/bi-lateral organizations, PSUs)

- Fundraising through individuals on online platforms and networking

- Seeking support from organizations to connect to CSRs (CSRBox, Unitedway, Guidestar etc.)

- Building a fundraising team

- Approach new institutions and maintain existing donor base, including creating an effective management platform for donors

- Creating matching partnerships with various corporates, individuals, and NGOs

- Create high quality utilization reports for the donors

- Create strategic fundraising plans to expand donation base

- Work closely with other teams internally to strategize based on budget, expenses, and goals for the quarter

- Lead fundraising on various platforms, such as Marathons, crowdfunding, and other events

Qualification

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- 2+ years of experience in fundraising roles (recommended)

- Minimum Bachelors degree, MBA or Masters degrees preferred

Remuneration: Upto 50,000/month based on previous experience and qualifications + commission for raised funds
