About the role & hierarchy :
This Regional Manager will be heading one full state (or equivalent) of Mylestone and will report in to the General Manager. He/she will have a team of 6-8 Education Specialists who would report to her/him.

Responsibilities :
- To manage a team & sign up number of schools and bring revenue as per the defined target
- To develop good and long term relationship with books distributors and major book vendors within your region
- To manage people in a way where they achieve the targets and feel valued in the organization
- To let nothing come in between achievement of the targets - and raise issues proactively
- Contribute to furtherance of the core philosophy and promise of the program
- Own the brand in your territory, and its positioning across local channels like distributors, local school bodies, media etc.
Duties :
- To get the schools adopt and sign up for Mylestone along with the Education Specialists
- To meet distributors and key book vendors within the region regularly
- To monitor, review and assist Education Specialists in their performance on a day to day basis
- To share competitive intelligence and customer insights to the marketing team
- To identify scope of and conceptualize marketing events for brand building
You will do well in this role if:
- You understand school sales process and know what are their triggers, barriers in buying
- You have bias for quality ALONG WITH a sense of urgency and respect for timelines
- You are organized and detail oriented (readily articulate how many, when, what budget etc)
- You are a multitasker by nature
- You are a problem solver (Instead of wondering "wish I had xyz", should demand "let's get this")
- You are an excellent communicator (can express complex concepts in simple words)
- You understand the audience well (imagine explaining the concept of mobile OS to a Class 1 student vs to Class 10th student - how would your instructions differ?)
You will not be a good fit in this role if:
- You aren't comfortable with data spanning multiple excel sheets
- You want an office based job, as this role is entirely field based role requiring daily school visits
- You do not how to review your team, or what to review them on
- You delay your reports and submissions
Job Specifications:
- Minimum 6 years of experience of new business development in B2B (concept) sales, preferably curriculum.
- Ability to manage a team and to be able to communicate clearly across levels, manage relationships with Owners, Principals and teachers and to coordinate with the Content and Implementation teams internally for product upgrades.
Selection Process :
Basis your CV selection, you will have a telephonic discussion with the General Manager, Mylestone followed by a video chat / face to face interaction. Depending upon the progress, you may also be required to respond to a short case study. Post that, a brief chat with the Business Head.
