myLaw seek a young professional to join its Marketing team. We're looking for people who are incredibly hungry, passionate, smart, fun to help us achieve that vision. The candidate should have a passion for online education and learning, familiarity with digital marketing and new media, and should be a great team player. Experience in an e-commerce, consumer internet start-up is highly preferred.

This position will be responsible for all of myLaw's digital marketing as it relates to our user acquisition. This will include, but is not limited to: building & managing the social media properties, executing content related SEO projects, and developing new inbound marketing channels and opportunities. Content and inbound marketing typically drives a tremendous amount of user acquisition for us. We believe there is a massive opportunity here to leverage our content to build a scalable repeatable channel that delivers real value to our students and dramatically accelerates our user acquisition & adoption.

Job Description

Title: Digital Marketing Specialist

Responsibilities:

- Drive digital marketing strategy for myLaw: Design and execute activation and engagement campaigns across the user funnel via multiple channels including advertising, product launches, campaigns, email marketing, webinars, offline events, and more;

- Inbound and outbound campaign development: Execute email campaigns (customer acquisition, drip and nurture), SEM/SEO, and content marketing;

- Lead myLaw's social media properties and product website - myLaw: Build a high-quality scalable digital media channels leveraging myLaw community to increase enrolments and site visits;

- Responsible for the continued success and growth of the email/CRM channel;

- Analyze and optimize conversion funnels and sign-up rates for all content and digital marketing efforts. Measure to help us learn and grow;

- Monitor digital marketing techniques and strategies used by other startups & ecommerce brands; poach best-practices and creative tactics; and

- Optimize results for campaigns by working with creative team on A/B testing content;

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Excited about joining a team of passionate individuals trying to solve real problems;

- Superb written communication and copywriting skills (you should have a sharp eye for headlines and marketing copy);

- Knowledge of SEO and keyword optimization;

- Highly creative thinking; Strong creative intuition and sense for design;

- Excellent project management skills and attention to detail (you will need to manage content creation to tight deadlines across a wide range of disparate parties);

- Experience with digital marketing and technology and e-commerce, including web analytics, email marketing, search marketing, social media, as well as conversion marketing.

- Experience with key online marketing tools to get the most out of online marketing tools like Facebook Advertising and Insights, heat map tools, marketing technologies; and

- Experience with analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Other), A/B and multivariate testing, and Multi-channel (online and offline) attribution and testing

- Experience working with Web platforms, including content management systems and CRMs (such as Wordpress, Zoho)

- Experience with website behavior and customer experience analysis, coordinating tags, tracking parameter implementations.

- Mid-level expertise in the SEM (Search Engine Marketing) / PPC (Pay Per Click) and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategies and a minimum one year experience measure success of SEM/PPC and SEO campaigns / efforts.

- A passion for online education and consumer internet products;

- A basic understanding of HTML and CSS (or again, desire to learn); and

- Knowledge of Photoshop or other image editing software (good to have but not necessary)

Credentials and Experience:

- Graduate or post graduate in any stream; a degree in Marketing, Math, Economics, Engineering, or Law is highly preferred;

- 2-4 years digital marketing experience at a consumer internet company or startup; and

- Strong analytical capabilities with experience making data-driven marketing decisions.
