Role Description:

- This is a full-time on-site role for a Manager Legal and Compliance at MyShubhLife in Bengaluru.

- The role involves tasks such as vendor agreement reviews, legal consulting, legal compliance, and managing compliance and legal affairs within the organization.

- Secretarial Compliance's with respect to the Companies Act, 2013 and as per other regulator's directives.

- Maintenance of all statutory registers and filings with regulators.

- Corporate Governance & Disclosures related compliance and implementing best practices within the organization in consultation with the management.

- Understands various lending business models, operations of NBFCs, Lending Service Providers, and upkeeps with latest RBI regulations with respect to lending.

- Contract Management: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and legal documents.

- Ensure that contracts comply with legal requirements, internal policies, and best practice.

- Stay updated on NBFC industry regulations and assist in ensuring compliance to various laws and regulations as applicable to the company.

- Assistance in filing, registering any document including forms, returns and applications by and on behalf of the company with various regulators like RBI/MCA.

- To update on the latest amendments in Companies Act, RBI and other rules and regulations applicable.

- Risk Management: Identify legal risks and vulnerabilities in the organization's operations, contracts, and policies.

- Assist in developing risk mitigation strategies and implementing measures to minimize legal exposure.

Qualifications:

- Qualified Company Secretary, preferably with LLB.

- A total of 3-5 years' experience with Microfinance / NBFC.

- Keep himself / herself abreast with regulatory changes (latest judgements & proposed changes in the Law and its impact on the functioning of the company).

- Ability to handle multiple tasks, excellent communication skills both oral and written.
