From conceptualising, planning and now on the mode of implementation we are Launching 4000 Fuel stations in 12 states, Pan India in the next 18 months projection. And yet we know we have miles yet to go and we- re always looking for like minds to help us get there.

About You :

- The candidate for State Manager would be driving the entire Sales & Operations function for the particular state. The State Manager is expected to implement the Retail Fuel station set up, Franchisee /Distribution set up, & smooth flow of operations for his state.

- The position shall be accountable for achieving Sales and targets by expansion of Retailer /Franchisee network, leading and motivating the Franchisee/Retailer, achieving the width of expansion, building volumes and implementing the marketing and sales promotion strategies.

- The manager is one who will assist in ensuring a smooth transaction with the franchiser and the franchisee ensuring all payments being collected to ensure a good relationship is being maintained sales, sales promotion, retail chain, marketing and sales, marketing, franchisee/retailer network.

A Manager who can Implement, Manage and drive with the help of his Head of Region to the entire Region Operations. Accountable for the State business operations and P&L.

Key Responsibilities :

-The position is responsible for providing strategic thought leadership and process ownership of state for executing MEE's Franchise & Business Development strategies. The role is responsible for leading day to day functions of Franchise & Business Development and New Franchise Assessment/On Boarding.

- Manage / facilitate all phases of franchise /Retailer development process and support: market planning, site selection & approval, Land Acquisition contracts, permitting, construction, and turnover/grand opening on projects from inception. High degree of variation within system of franchisee's knowledge and infrastructure related to development.

- Act as single point of contact for franchise /Retailer development related activity for State covered (West), while delivering effective and streamlined communication to franchise system on development pipeline.

- Responsible for attaining planned franchise /Retailer development action approvals and openings for territory covered (West), including accurate forecasting and risk assessment. Includes utilizing project management processes to develop and maintain a pipeline of projects, track progress against milestones and communicate results.

- Manage compliance of all MEE Development activity consistent with all related process and policies, including MEE Development Approval Committee requirements.

- Build relationships and work with franchisees/Retailer to influence develop commitment against market plans and support ongoing development results aligned with those plans. Provide assistance to help define and develop asset strategies and processes to drive profitable growth and image upgrade pace. Engage with Franchisees/Retailers and internal partners to find solutions to development barriers.

- Execute assessment and qualification process for new franchisees entering the MEE system through new unit development or acquisition. Partner with MEE Finance on transfer approval process. Supports franchise on-boarding and follow up support processes.

- Supports targeted Franchise /Retailers Recruiting efforts to fill brand strategic needs by identifying, evaluating, and qualifying candidates. Includes partnering on Diversity & Inclusion to identify, support, and enable diversity franchise recruiting.

- Moderate to heavy (20-50%+) travel depending on pipeline priorities

Education : BA/BS in real estate, finance, business or related field required. MBA preferred.

Experience :

- Minimum of 3-5 years of market planning, real estate, development related experience with demonstrated organizational impact and increasing responsibility in related areas. Experience in franchise, multi-unit restaurant/retail industry preferred.

- Demonstrated proficiency in broad development technical areas including site selection, trade area analysis, real estate contract negotiation, construction management, facilities management, architecture.

Fundamental Skills :

- Must have strong internal motivation, intellectual curiosity, logical thinking, and a desire to have a large commercial impact on the organization. Being a Customer Maniac is a must.

- Must have proven track record in assisting and driving field based teams and driving results via creative thinking and problem solving. Proven track record in hiring and developing direct reports.

- Proven track record of influencing and negotiation skills.

- Demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task & generate actionable recommendations. Demonstrated track record of strong Project Management skills.

- Excellent interpersonal & team skills with ability to present to Senior Leadership

- Clear and effective communication across all media (face to face, by phone, in writing) with people at various levels, whether internal or external to the organization, including Franchisees. Ability to partner well with cross functional departments and work with all levels of management, including Regional CEO's

- Ability to efficiently manage workload well with shifting priorities. Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast paced and deadline-driven environment while generating actionable recommendations.

- Strong system/technical skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite with strong/advanced Excel and Power point skills. Knowledge of Micro strategy
