MX Player - Manager - Public Relations

As the Manager, PR this individual will work in the Marketing domain in the Mumbai (Andheri East) location.

- Developing relevant media documentation (Press Release/Press Notes/Story Pitch/ Snippets) including research, writing, proofreading and distributing press releases/communication to targeted media

- Regular follow up with Media and securing various opportunities of participation for the brand, importantly maintaining past relations and developing new strong relations with relevant media

- Creative ideation on campaigns/ communication strategies - consumer and brand Planning/Co-ordination with third party agencies (event agencies/ PR agency/ news portals/ news tracking services etc)

- Take responsibility for managing the day-to-day show and brand activities

- Monitoring and follow up editorial opportunities as well as paid associations

- Planning/Managing on ground events/press conference

- Proactive thinking and monthly planning including strategy, goals, budget and PR tactics

- Crisis communication management

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in PR, Communications or Postgraduate in PR

- Min 6-7 years of relevant work experience in PR and Communications

- Excellent Communication written, oral, and interpersonal skills

- Strong Networking with Media, B2B

- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work on more than one project at a time

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
