Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identifying priority strategic partners, negotiating and closing SVOD partnership deals, implementing the agreements, managing the partnerships and supporting the roll out of GTM/marketing activities agreed with the partner. This would include successfully sourcing and negotiating complex partnership agreements, from first contact through to signed contracts.
- Serve as primary point of contact and account management within the partnership team for the given set of partners.
- Coordinate closely with the marketing team and product teams to provide an end-to-end solution.
- Report on plans and results to senior management and coordinate closely with various internal stakeholders.
- Working closely with partners to understand their customers, their goals and their approach to marketing and content, and owning the end-to-end delivery of all partner launches.
- Collaborating internally with Central Marketing folks and leading cross-functional teams to deliver best in class campaign opportunities and assets for our partners. Leading, influencing, and executing integrated go to market plans with multiple partners and across relevant internal teams.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proven experience in Partnership development/Business Development. Should be able to showcase. some large-scale partnerships that he/she has launched in the past. Proven ability to create and execute complex, multi-partner deal.
- Strategic agility, strong communication, persuasion and advocacy skills. Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior management both internally and externally.
- Ability to think, analyze and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
- Proven negotiating skills, business judgement and influencing abilities.
- High attention to detail, flexibility and willingness to be resourceful in getting things done.
- Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.
- Strong bias for action, and ability to work independently toward stated goals with minimal oversight.
- A passion for video content is a plus.
- Executive presence with proven ability to influence and earn trust.
- Tenacity and sense of urgency; the ability to make things happen quickly with large, less nimble partners and/or teams.
Required Qualifications:
- MBA preferred.
- Excellent working knowledge of the India VOD space and wider trends of digital media streaming services.
- Successful candidates will have 8-15 years experience working with external partners and demonstrate excellent relationship management and have a strong will to deliver results.
- Digital Entertainment Industry experience or Experience in Business Development/Partnerships at an OTT company would be preferred.
- Strong existing network of contacts amongst some of the following industries - mobile networks, OEMs, Payment Wallets, eCommerce companies, Fintech, LFRs, Banks and/or any other company or brand with a digital presence.
- Must be willing to travel.
- 8-15 years experience in B2B2C partner focus in mobile, retail, OEM, film, media, music, television or gaming.
