Position Summary
- The is a new role and the individual will be responsible to improve productivity of the business by strengthening the skills of 25,000+ frontline employees, overseeing the training infrastructure and putting in place performance management systems
Primary Responsibilities
Sales training
1. Align sales training with business focus
2. Design scalable, business-focussed capability building program to improve business productivity
3. Oversee effective operations of Muthoot training academies and strengthen cadre of high quality training staff
Business performance management
1. Design and put in place a performance management framework
2. Ensure implementation of the performance framework through right processes and follow-up
3. Review performance of branches and implement performance levers through training
Key result areas for the role
- Improvement in per branch and/or per employee productivity (%)
- Delivery against business transformation priorities
- Frontline attrition (%)
- Engagement scores for branch and sales staff
- Customer satisfaction scores
Skills and Requirements
- MBA from Tier-1 business school or equivalent qualification
- 8-10+ years’ experience as a regional sales head / sales training manager and has managed large teams before
The professional will also need:
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to influence peers and senior executives and sensitivity to organizational issues
- Understanding of latest techniques to build people capabilities and change management
- Highly driven and goal-oriented approach
