Roles and Responsibilities:

- Work on complex business problems related to underwriting and risk.

- Rectification of all irregularities reported by Auditors / major cases review and actions.

- Oversee and implement new schemes/modification in gold loan schemes (including preparation and

submission of product notes to committee, coordinate for IT related modifications to accommodate schemes features and new rates and issuance of circulars regarding new schemes to branches) and termination of unviable gold loan schemes.

- Stressed Assets (Police seizure - prevention, recovery, approvals)

- Formulating Credit Risk policies, Fraud checks and control, pre-qualification parameters, user lender match and routing mechanism thereby ensuring a control on the quality flow

- Insurance - all insurance related aspects which are related to Risk.

- End to end development and testing of the solutions as per the requirements.

- Legal cases / expenses - Filing cases, legal aspects, review, and other aspects Gold loan scheme / market study / credit monitoring / FVR's / Loan approvals / RCU

- Provide analytical solutions through Segmentation modelling, credit policy and strategy, reporting and data analysis.

- Monitor, maintain and improve all scorecards, policies and processes across portfolios and ensure its effectiveness.

- Deep dive into monthly business outputs for analysing business conversions, early risk indicators with respect to various customer segments.

- Monitoring the collection strategies for different loan buckets, cost optimization strategies, review of delinquent buckets for certain irregularity trends to accordingly adjust the credit risk policies for better portfolio health.

- Creating User Segmentation and profiling users based on several attributes for better understanding of different profiles and accordingly provide differential treatment and offerings to each bucket.

- Interest collection and NPA recovery and recovery of P/L accounts

- Strengthening Risk Infrastructure system by conceptualization, designing variables and scheme.

- Track and improve key performance indicators, losses, and portfolio quality. Provide deep dive analysis on portfolio matrices.

- Build profile segmentation models like Application Score, Behaviour Score, etc.

- Work closely with business team to understand their need and provide Analytical solution.

- Assess if any early warning signals using data analysis and segmentations and take pro-active policy actions as and when required.

- Support in managing and improving various offer strategies, control offer generation and distribution through data analysis.

- Work closely with Product, Growth and IT teams to support business growth and drive new initiatives.

- Branch process & all regulatory Compliance, customer grievances, replies to authorities etc.

- Ongoing liaising with IT, Credit and BIU/DATA teams to ensure all policies, processes, and data flow are working efficiently, and all required changes are built and implemented suitably.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- BBM or MBA in Finance/ Statistics / Applied Finance.

- Deep understanding of underwriting /risk policy.

- More than 10 years of experience with strategy in credit risk and underwriting.

- Ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and iterative environment.

- Experience in handling huge data base and the ability to do root cause analysis.

- Individual contributor with the capability to deliver projects within timeline.
