Main Challenges in this Position:
1) Own the Category/Categories P&L- to drive profitable growth
2) Drive on newer opportunities for the assigned category with respect to: Geography, New segments, Premiumization
3) Drive on newer opportunities for the assigned category with respect to: Geography, New segments, Premiumization
4) Work along with a cross-functional team to deliver on innovations within the category
Responsibility and Mandate:
5) Ensure the assigned category delivers objectives in respect of volumes, market share and margins
6) Develop the category strategy through strong consumer insights that deliver consumer loyalty and generate demand
7) Drive innovation process for the assigned categories
8) Develop and execute category advertising and promotion campaigns with cost-effective media mix to support brand objectives
9) Determine consumer research objectives, initiate research and integrate findings into product plans.
10) Coordinate all category product initiatives through the entire value chain to ensure profitable growth
11) Determine marketing consumer research objectives, initiate research and integrate findings to product plans.
12) Drive cost reduction projects to deliver product margins
13) Independently manage marketing operations for the assigned category
14) Work with external agencies to execute the category strategy
Main Tasks and/or Projects:1) Build and execute category plans
2) Own the P&L for the category.

4) Support Trade marketing with BTL

Education & Experience:- Master's in Business Administration from top B schools
- 4-6 years of experience with at least 2 years of brand experience
- 4-6 years of experience in Sales with a marketing flair
- Excellent communication skills
- Sound marketing concepts, analytics, and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of business dynamics in India.
- Experience in packaged foods industry.
- Understanding of TG: Millennials/Gen Z
- Experience in digital campaigns and eCommerce/MT focused categories
- Experience in category development
- Experience of new product development
- Master's in Business Administration from top B schools
