Responsibility and Mandate:

- Build & monitor Sales Budgets by region / SKU & ASM wise

- Analysing both primary & secondary trend by geography & item level to find problematic areas to and highlighting in to business head.

- Develop Business dashboard with Key KPI to drive the business

- Stock and Sales Report Update @ Stockist & SKU Level for Pan India

- Nielsen Market Share Analysis MTR vs competitors - Analyse external view on Key business parameters

- Collaborate with IT team to enable better data management & Business intelligence for the Sales Function

- Tracking sales targets at a Zone, ASM & TSE Level, and evaluate if the same is in line with the Company Target.

- Evaluate & work on Incentive file for - TSE

Main Tasks and/or Projects:

- Working closing with IT to help Sales team on developing KPI's & dashboard

- Mapping & Uploading data onto the server for input for various Business Tools used across the organization.

- Qlikview / Power BI - Testing and Fine tuning in order to provide better data inputs to enhance the Data Usage across all levels in the Sales organization.

- Training & development to DAE across the zone in the Reporting & Analytical practices at MTR.

- Standardizing & developing review format & MIS format across Zones.

Main challenges in this position (or company/division/BU):

- Providing expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleaning

- Translating numbers and facts and analysing for strategic business decisions

- Use Statistical techniques for hypothesis testing to validate data & interpretations

- Present data and conclusions to sales in order to improve strategic & operational goals

- Prepare reports with the available data sources -using big data and other relevant Analytics tools to provide the business insights.

- Ability to analyse and visualize data one or more tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Qlikview

- Business Intelligence Platform- Act as the single point of contact for the Sales Organization to ensure accuracy of data being used as an input, Modifying and testing the platform to provide better data analysis platform to enhance the Data Usage.

- Providing Quality of Data & identifying areas for process improvement in the design & preparation of both Standard and Adhoc reports.

2. Candidate Profile:

Education:

1. 5+ years of experience in Data analytics in an FMCG organization.

2. Understanding of dynamics of FMCG sales, systems and processes.

3. Knowledge of SPSS / Power BI / Qlikview / Tableau / Advanced Excel

4. Exposure to SAP / SFA / Channel Konnect.

5. Exposure to Sales & Marketing / Operational field. M
