Responsibility and Mandate :

1) Ensure delivery of assigned objectives in respect of volumes, market share and margins. 2) Own the innovation agenda for international business from conceptualization to implementation in the market. -

3) Determine marketing consumer research objectives, initiate research and integrate findings to product plans. -

4) Develop and execute category advertising and promotion campaigns with a cost-effective media mix to support brand objectives - across Ethnic and mainstream consumer segments.

5) Drive the digital agenda for International Business. -

6) Drive cost reduction projects to deliver product margins

Main Challenges in this Position :

1) Develop category & brand strategy for International Business and execution plans. -

2) Build and develop a communication strategy to connect to with Indian as well as mainstream consumers in key international markets. -

3) Identify growth opportunities for international markets and create an innovation pipeline to meet the requirements of the mainstream as well as Indian consumers. -

4) Work along with a cross-functional team to deliver on the innovation agenda for International business. -

5) Groom and guide talent in the team.

Main Tasks and/or Projects :

1) Build and execute category plans for international business - using a strong consumer lens. -

2) Lead the innovation projects for the category/ categories. -

3) Support sales and trade marketing with Below the Line activities.

Candidate Profile :

Education :


- Master's in Business Administration from top 25 B schools. -

- 7+ years' of work experience in sales and marketing in FMCG. (Experience in International markets preferable)

Competence/Skills :

1) Good Domain Knowledge of Marketing with exposure to advertising development, media planning and consumer research

2) Consumer Insights

3) Prior project management experience

4) Understanding of international markets

5) Digital Media Knowhow
