MTR Foods - Area Sales Manager - Punjab, H&P & J&K
Responsibility and Mandate:
- Develop Sales promotion plans for delivering sales volumes.
- Analyze sales outlet performance at regular intervals to initiate corrective action.
- Develop a month-wise forecast for territory sales.
- Ensure periodic meetings at customer outlets to calibrate customer expectations, and understand competitor plans in order to proactively counter competitive action.
- Build positive and impacting relationships with all channel partners within the framework of company policies.
- Execute policies on market returns and arrange for appropriate disposal of damaged and expired stocks.
- Ensure morale and motivation levels of the front-line sales force. Focus on developing and upgrading of the sales force.
Main Challenges in this Position (or company/division/BU):- Execute annual plans for the MTR Product range including value, volume, and margin targets.
- Develop and execute annual plans, budgets, and KPIs for Area Sales in respect of volume, value, and product / SKU market mix.
- Develop month-wise sales forecasts.
- Develop channel and market strategies for area distribution encompassing outlet coverage, availability, and visibility.
- Implement and administer sales systems, reporting, distributor policies, stock norms, application of credit and discounts, billing, and collections.
- Implement and administer policies, plans, systems, and targets in respect of local key accounts.
Candidate ProfileEducation : MBA/Graduate
Experience :- 5+ years of Sales and distribution in FMCG, preferably Foods.
- Experience in having worked across the Mumbai market and assigned region.
- Experience in new launches and building new brands.
- Experience in enhancing distribution network.
- Experience of working on Neilson's data and practically implementing in market M
Competence/Skills :- In-depth knowledge of FMCG/Foods Industry.
- Complete knowledge of the Mumbai market.
- Channel Partner Management skills.
