MTC Group - Compliance Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Government Relations: Serve as the primary liaison between the company and various government departments, regulatory bodies, and local authorities for all matters related to approvals, permits, licenses, and regulatory filings.

2. Regulatory Submissions: Ensure timely submission of documents, applications, and forms required for regulatory compliance (e.g., tax filings, labor law registrations, environmental clearances).

3. Advocacy and Negotiation: Represent the company in meetings with government entities and regulators, advocating for the companys interests while ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards.

4. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong professional relationships with external stakeholders, including government officials, regulatory agencies, and industry associations.

5. Regulatory Adherence: Ensure that the company complies with all applicable local, state, and national laws and regulations, including but not limited to environmental, health & safety, labour, tax, and corporate governance.

6. Compliance Monitoring: Conduct regular assessments and audits of internal processes to identify potential compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.

7. Policy and Procedure Oversight: Assist in developing and updating internal compliance policies, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

8. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records and prepare regular compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies.

Experience: 4-5 plus of experience in Liasoning with government bodies.
